Tw@in 28
Hello everybody! Even if this is my first topic, I've actually been lurking around the forums for the last year. Let's get to the point, hoping someone can help me: My hackintosh is an ACER Extensa 5204WLMi. Approx. one year ago, I managed to install iAtkos 5 on it (based on 10.5.7, upgraded to 10.5.8 using iDeneb combo upgrade, Darwin Kernel Version 9.8.0). Everything works fine, and I'm pretty happy with my hackintosh, still I can't wake it up from Sleep: whenever I put my system into Sleep mode, it seems to halt and screen shuts all right, yet I cannot wake it up, and I have to manually reboot the system, to be able to work on it again. I tried using the Sleepenabler kext, but no real success....afaik, it's the wake up part that's not working.... Any help? Thank you in advance. ____________ Tw@in

Sorry, Rio22
Neflem
10.5.8 was problematic for sleep. I have an Lenovo X60 and as soon as I upgraded to that crappy version, I could no longer sleep. Had to wait months for Snow leopard. Why not upgrade to Snow Leopard?
rio22
I can't go to snipe the snow Leopard because of my ATI HD2600PRO ( no QuartzExtreme)
Tw@in 28
Sigh....and I was hoping for a kernel patch or something.... ....upgrading to SL would bring too many issues: I don't have much space left on this partion and I don't really want to go through the risky partition-resizing-moving-then-merging process....anyone else has an idea? I will lurk around this, keeping my eyes open: there must be a way....
