i havent tested it since snow leopard. Check if your soundcard in Intel HD compatiple. If yes, the voodoo should work only if you connect the 10-pin(5x2) Front audio header on the card. Audio input is a hit and miss, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

i can confirm that the voodoo HDA driver at tony site works for my pcie xfi fatality platinum, but it still needs to plug in a headphone at the case's front panel in order to get sound at the back output (green), so strange...

and the voodoo pref panes works too and detect all my ports

Did anyone get the forte working with Lion?
Tried several kexts on a clean installation that did work for me before but now it won't.
Everything else including the onboard sound worked out of the box even with voodoo extensions installed for the forte.

Got it working in lion;

1. Download VoodooHDA 2.7.3
2. Change in info.plist key IOPCIPrimaryMatch to value 0x000b1102
3. Install to S/L/E
4. Use front panel connector, X-Fi front panel or short circuit the connector else you get low volume.

No need to inject ports as those are already fully working :)
Seems support for the Forte 7.1 is build in VoodooHDA already.
All that time I was looking in the wrong directions :P

One drawback I haven't solved; you must use the front panel connecter or jumper to get the right volume, just like before.

Update: confirmed working in ML with 2.7.3 kext :)
Still no onboard audio beats my Forte with OPA637SM upgrade, I hope VoodooHDA will be supported in then next years to come

Hi all,

Did you managed to have all input/output working for X-Fi titanium pci-e ?

I only have frontpanel (IODrive) and backpanel green output working with 2.8.1 kext. :(
