Bansaku Posted November 19, 2009 Share Posted November 19, 2009 For some reason WoW hangs in SL for me; works great in 10.5.8 but in 10.6.X (CPU OC or not) the game will hang up needing a force restart. This happens within the first minute. Sometimes at login, sometimes after the game, sometimes at character select. Regardless, I get a max of 15 seconds of gameplay. The small spiny colour ball appears and nothing happens, it just freezes needing a hard reset. Anyone else experiencing this same problem? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sometimes I can play for hours, other times it happens within minutes. But the end result is the same... I need a Force Quit or even a computer reset. PJALM© Posted November 28, 2009 Share Posted November 28, 2009 I am running SL 10.6.2 without any problems at all. What video cards are you using? I hav nVidia and works fine but my aunt has the ATI 4870 and has issues sometimes but still not as often as you guys are mentioning.
