llauradog
Hello xsmurf, I just wanted to ask you if you could please send me some type of a guide to install os x in my built. As I posted on the forum, I dont get to boot into the installer. I do have my retail copy of OS X 10.6 and downloaded the Qoopz kernel but I am a bit clueless about how to perform the installation.. You use the boot 132 cd? I would really appreciate your help. Thank you. -gabriel
Defender666
Can someone resume what the current state is. Is 10.6.1 + Qoopz stable or not? llauradog: Yes there is one more thing to do... use retail. My install worked fine from the start with retail+qoopz+proper dsdt. The only issue was FSB frequency which I've now fixed if you look at the other thread by setting fsb=FSB_SPEED_IN_HERTZ Did this fix the problems? How does this work in detail
fr3z3rburn
So has there been any more headway on the guide you speak of xsmurf? I plan on a new build for x-mas and i would love to use the new GA-P55A-UD4P. It has USB 3.0 fr3z3rburn
tonymacx86
I've read this thread, posted in this thread, it does not discuss the current issue. It is the boot file you used. Believe me. Use the i5 boot with Chameleon RC1 and you will have no RTC speed issues. You will have to install Chameleon manually.
