Snow Leopard size

I was wondering what's the size of Snow Leopard install disk. I mean, is it 6.12 GB or 7.16 GB. Also for those of you who have already installed, what does it show in the About this Mac, 10A432 or 10.6 ? Somebody was claiming that the Installation instructions in French is for 10.5 and not for 10.6 and Apple overlooked this. Is it true? What is/are the difference(s) between upgrade and retail?

I'm not sure about the size, have to check when I'm home.

10.6 has also the same 10A432 version. I verified this on my installed (upgrade) version. Upgrade version doesn't come with iLife and iWorks. The retail version does. In terms of OS, I don't think there is any difference between the retail and upgrade version.

I made a DMG of the DVD with no compression or anything...

I've bought three upgrades and they are all Retails!

What I meant was not the installed size, but the size of the dmg/ISO whatever with or without Boot Camp. Thanks for the About this Mac info though :)

My country does not have an Apple Store, neither does Apple Care to ship it to my country. Anyway, I'm downloading, and there are so many images floating around, that it's very easy to get confused. However, thank you very much, I guess I'll have to verify the size with yours if & when my download completes. :)

I can always get you one and post it, it's about 22 USD plus postage which can't be more than 4 USD

Thank you very much mate, but then how would I pay you? Having said that, I'd like to keep that option open for maybe a few other things later , say something from newegg ? :)

I have paypal...

but that's not an issue, if you can't get it in India, we have to make a plan. Don't let money become a stumbling block, I mean, its only money! We have a dealer here in Switzerland that have the same prices as newegg so let me know....

PM me if you need to talk this further.......
