ok: I tried to apply your mods.. into mine.
so the vga in system panel crash as before.. except in lion that works fine (as mine)
in PCI details I see 4 entry with slot position.. but slot 2 is both for wthernet and video..

vedo che hai ripreso in mano il 5930, il mio è ancora vivo e vegeto (ho installato sopra snow 10.6.6)

ma hai già testato qualche beta di lion?
ho visto che rilasciato anche un bios modificato, appena avrò qualche giorno libero cerco di leggermi per bene le ultime novità.

Naturalmente all'uscita di Lion cerco ti tornare a regime

tutte funzionano ... fino alla dp3. e bene
se usi il bios mod pubblicato hai sia windows che mac e con lion non hai bisogno di nulla eccetto fakesmc per partire..
ovviamente ti basta usare il metodo per installare lion.. e chamaleon 2 rc5 dalla 753 in su per farlo partire sia su GPT che su MBR

detto questo.. ora mi sto concentrando su
-LID (gli acer della ns famiglia non fanno un wake se apri il coperchio)
-BT (so come farlo partire all'avvio, e il biosmod è già operativo.. ma voglio migliorare
-audio e rete (si sa.. la lan non ha driver se non BSD.. ma di cui nessuno ha fatto il porting.. uffa e l'Audio è un'altra nemesi.. perchè ho tentato di fare il porting del kext injector di leopard ma non va.. e sono costretto ad usare voodoohda.. che però non attiva (vedasi log kernel) il mic frontale. ne ho provati una marea.. nessuno fa addirittura alcuni voodoo non fanno partire il sistema
-video (con i dsdt che abbiamo, anche elaboratissimi come il recente postato nella pag precedente, ho QE/CI, ma su SNOW il pannello di controllo parte incasinato e se fai, per errore, di selezionare una risoluzione->non ne esci più devi riavviare//su lion invece i driver vanno così bene che il pannello è ok. . ma attento: non sono solo i driver invidia perchè su lion e snow ho messo i driver FERMI.. e non cambia nulla. quindi lion ha anche una gestione dell'hw del tutto diversa. al punto da avere risposte diverse!)
-webcam (su leo tutto ok.. su snow e lion ciccia fresca: anche qui: non basta guardare le cartelle QT e framework resources (in tutto le cartelle sono 4) poichè ci ho lavorato pesante.. ma non è mai cambiato nulla.. il massimo che ho è una finestra nera con scritto apple isight..

ah e conta molto il tipo di smbios.. poichè se metti un hw che non c'entra nulla.. non attivi smbus e smc (che ora i miei dsdt hanno) e lpc
per esempio non va mai messo macbook 1,1 2,1, 4,1, 5,1, perchè sono hw con schede video, bus, e dimensione schermo totalmente diverse dal nostro!

io preferisco 3,1 o 8,3 o 5,2 come smbios

I have 5730ZG with Atheros WiFi (Atheros 9280). It works correctly. Audio works with VoodooHDA. My DVD works ok too :

i red that you dont use applehda on your acer 888s,would yu like to try kext i uploaded in ;snow leopard on acer 5738g /Started by rockingturtle
i use them both ,work nice,the problem with 10.6.8 one is that it work only after wake strangely...you might have a different config or dsdt than me.
the first is multibeast modded with different node id for speaker/headphone.
