I need some help. I'm trying to make new logo. Basic elements must be gear or sprocket, lightning and letters S & C.
In attachment is something that I came up with but I don't like it much. Can someone help me?

what about if you made the S and C to have gear teeth on their exteriors, and be interlocking at the lower curve of the S meets the upper back of the C, kinda like how they are in relation to eachother now

not sure where the lightning bolt comes in... maybe there could be sparks where the teeth meet?

hmmm... that would look nice but that is too much for me. I don't know how to draw that. I know some basic drawing in FreeHand and that's all

What is this logo for? Personal Forum Avatar? School Project? Company Logo?

A logo is created in a context. What kind of company? What does the letters S and C mean? Why consists your color palette of red and yellow? Are there other colors that would match the ideology of your company? Ask yourself some questions.
