Pu7o:

I was wondering if it is possible to get the newest version (2.4.6) compiled? That would be great, and thanks a lot for this one, is much better than the PCC version posted at abisource.

Hi Pu7o:

Thank you so much for making this port.

I was using NeoOffice 2.1 Intel but that program is much larger (more like replacement for Microsoft Office) and took much longer to load. AbiWord Universal loads in couple seconds (!) I've used AbiWord in Windows and Linux and liked those versions.

I'm making this my default Application for opening and editing Microsoft Word documents.

Here is a mirror for Abiword 2.4.4 (intel):

The newest version of Abiword is 2.6.4 ...
Hopefully there will be a Mac (intel or UB) version, too.

Please rebuild abiWord (latest version).

I'm having the same difficulty as Todayday and ZaiS... When I install and try to launch this build of AbiWord, I get an error message that reads: “AbiWord.app” is damaged and can’t be opened.

I'm on a Mac Pro 2 x 2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon,running OS X 10.8.3

Would love to get this working so I can open some old AbiWord files.
