I have taaken apart many iMac G3s! The easiest one is probably the 400Mhz and up (That includes yours). Make sure you unplug the iMac first.

1. Put a soft sheet on your floor, prefferably a towel or something.

2. Put the iMac's screen face down on the towel.

3. Unscrew the two screws under the stand(bit that moves on a hinge to angle the screen)

4. See there is a bit of plastic that has a hole at the top. Well put a flathead screwdriver in the hole and push the end up(away from the floor)

5. Unscrew the 2 big screws under there.

6. The bottom will come away.

7. There is a metal mesh with about 6 miniature screws in. Unsrew them and the mesh comes off.

All the stuff should be able to be accesed from there unless you want to clean it up inside or change the processor, if there is anything else just ask.

Just a safety reminder IF you intend to mess with the CRT at all... it MUST get discharged before handling it. If you have no experience with this... get someone else to do it.

if you do not take this precaution, death can result.
