LiskoFINAL
Hi I have a retail installation on an Intel D945GCLF and I'm using originals kexts for the GMA950, they works great! I have to change resolution by setting it at boot but if I try to set a widescreen resolution my hackintosh boots at 1024x768. How can I fix this problem? LiskoFINAL
The problem is not that. My problem is: if I boot with a widescreen resolution the resolution don't change it olny change if I boot with a 4:3 resolution.

mrbonkers
you mean the boot screen(gray screen with apple logo)? press F8 at darwin boot and type ?video and see what options are available. once you are done type "Graphics Mode="your resx32"( eg "Graphics Mode"="1680x1050x32") NOTE: "" are necessary and i think it's case sensitive too edit: smarcix has linked the thread.. still not working? LiskoFINAL
So, your method works and is the same that I use. The problem is: if I try to set a 16:9 resolution ("Graphics Mode"="1360x768x32") it simply boot at 1024x768. If I set a 4:3 resolution ("Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32") it boots correctly. mrbonkers
i dont think widescreen resolution will be available. accordingly to what i have tested, darwin only boots in widescreen(16:9,16:10) only if your monitor is connected to a dvi port, vga and internal lcd(laptop lcd) wont be able to boot in widescreen.
