Download and unzip the file, and then follow the instructions Side notes:The board that this was tested and confirmed working on was a GA-X38-D24 "Disclaimers: We don't take responsibility for the kexts or files provided, we did not write them, only consolidated them and wrote instructions to setup ALC889a audio only." Roar Posted May 10, 2009 Share Posted May 10, 2009 After I rebooted it didn't work "out-of-box" but then I just turned the volume up a bit in the sound preferences and now it works like a charm.
