bigheed
Quite confused about this, I bought one of these usb adapters today with the understanding it was compatible with 10.x and above, according to all the websites that sell it (pcworld, currys, dixons etc) they all list it as mac compatible, however I can't figure out how to get it working in 10.5.6 Incidently the belkin website does not list this with mac compatible in the supported os. Regards. EDIT: I am waiting for belkin support to get back to me also, and the box itself does say on the bottom "Mac OSX and the mac logo are trademarks of apple inc" except there is no logo or mention of osx anywhere else on the box or packaging. EDIT2: Got a response from belkin tech support this morning (surprisingly quick!) and at the moment there are no driver's but (and I quote) "We are sorry to let you know that, we don`t have the drivers F6D4050 for Mac Operating system on our website as of now. Our engineers are working on it and it might be hosted on our website very soon. We don`t have information on the release date for those drivers." I also found out the ralink chipset is the RT3070L, if anyone has anymore info to add then please do so but at least im closer to a driver knowing they will release one. Does it matter that it says Belkin FSD 8053 in the kext? I bought it based on the fact you said it was working and It won't work with those changes.
