r0tt3n
I'm definitely interested in this as well. I'm interested in running a hackintosh with 2000mhz FSB, and this X58-T3eH8 mobo is perfect for this... easily achieve those speeds, according to two different reviews I read. Pretty hard to find any info on getting hackintosh to work with it though...

ByE! yea I've got the DFI DK X58-T3eH6 w/ Core i7 920.. system jut restarts when files are loading off the inital boot from the disk. =\ I didn't think it was realistic tho for this to work on such new hardware, it seems like you gotta kinda have older hardware to get it working =( I think I may buy a netbook in the neer future and install it on that because it seems that those are supported quicker than other hardware. I've got this same motherboard... got it up and running today. All 8 logical cores showing up. Here's the scoop: Install DVD: XxX 10.5.6 Set BIOS to IDE for integrated HDD controller (note: you will have to set it back to AHCI after install is complete) Installation Options, select: Voodoo kernel Tools ACPI fix ... continue to install. When system reboots, change to AHCI in bios Select F8 when Darwin boot screen comes up Type "busratio=20" w/o quotes... press enter. This should put you into OSX Open Finder and run OSXTools Set EFI string to busratio=20... this is so you don't have to do it everytime you boot. If you get the sound working, let me know.
