Edit your com.apple.Boot.plist file and set a new key/value pair. <key>Scan Single Drive</key> <string>Yes</string> *Limited to one drive when doing this fix* I had this problem and this should fix it This is a workaround, not a solution, as large drives still can't be booted from.The next release of Chameleon will fix this `EBIOS read error: Error 0x01' error and resulting hang (and possibly the boot problem as well?) according to Kabyl.
