I have a Ati readeon 4870 512 mb and i wonder if i will work fully? Dual display dosn´t need to work. Sorry for my bad english. I finally build my hackintosh, and I have installed evoenabler for hd4870 and ati4800controller.kext and I have my devid is right and in atireadeonx2000 is devid also right. I Have installed PC-EFI v10.6 but when i check in about this computer it dosnt show if i have support for CI , QE and openGL? How do I know it works like it should work? And sometimes finder looks very funny. The easiest way to see if you have qe/ci working is to start the chess app and try to move a chess piece. If that works you have qe/ci. Another easy way to tell is by adding a widget to your desktop and if it gives a cool water effect when you add it, then you have qe/ci working. @ROBASEFR Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 After 10.6.3 update , I have problems just as Netkas says. No solutions for me at this time. Tried al the solutions like Netkas, but didn't work. Resolution is fixed on 1400x 1050 on my 23"LCD screen ! without other choices and no digital LCD screen recognition In systeminfo the card is recognized ! After a while popup warnings appears (in seperated windows) with saying ATI4800Controller.kext, ATISupport.kext and ATIFramebuffer.kext not installed properly and have to be reinstalled ! Under 10.6.2 my card (ATI4850/512 Gainward GS) works perfectly with EvoEnabler.kext and LegacyATI4800controller.kext in /Extra config.
