pister
Hi!!! After a lot of problems, I successfully installed hazard 10.6.6i Hp dm3 1010el. I modified the dsdt to be able to change the brightness, fixed all the errors and warnings, installed SleepEnabler from this forum, But the sleep doesn't work. The strange thing is that i've tried a modified Hp mini's dsdt, and with this the sleep works!!! but i have a lot of other problems. I've attached my modified dsdt and fixed hp mini's dsdt. Can someone see the two dsdts and help me to fix this problem?? Thanks!!!! (and excuse for my poor english, I'm Italian) Dsdt.zip Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/248435-sleep-on-hp-dm3-dsdt-problem/ Share on other sites
MaLd0n
hazard 10.6.6i Use Retail Use native Power management if you need ... apply pathes in USB You do not need sleepenabler Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/248435-sleep-on-hp-dm3-dsdt-problem/#findComment-1642081 Share on other sites
pister
Thanks for the reply!!! You are probably right, biut I have also tried a Retail installation, but it didn't work... I don't know very well the Hackintosh world, but (I think) fixing the dsdt will be necessary even with a Retail installation.. I think it will be a lot easier to fix a 95% working Hackintosh (I have qe/ci, brightness, audio, wireless, keyboard, touchpad, usb, speedstep working) instead of reinstall everything, if it's possible...(probably it's also easier) Is it possible checking in Hp Mini's dsdt which are the wrong parameters that don't allow a correct sleep in my dsdt? (I repeat, sleep/wake is working with Hp Mini's dsdt, but a lot of other things don't...) 2° question: How can I "apply pathes in USB" ?
