Thanks for your help, and merry christmas I set the hibernatemode to 0, with no result After that I tried your kext, but at first try my system doesn't wake as always, at reboot the kext didn't allow me to boot (saw it in -v) Are there any other options?

    Goes to sleep, doesn't wake

Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately my problem is not sleep, but wake. My DSDT is already patched, and my system goes correctly to sleep (fan stops, hd stops, power button led flashes like it does when it's in standby under windows). The problem is that when I press any key (after sleep), the system seems to try to wake up (leds on, fan starts to blow for a sec) but it immediately shut down. If useful, you can find the patched DSDT at this thread: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/266717-dsdt-fix-for-lion-sleep-on-hp-dm3/page__hl__+hp%20+dm3#entry1744188 So: 1)done 2)done 3)done 4)done 5)done How can I see if the problem is CMOS reset? (I already patched AppleRTC, just to be sure because there are different methods) What else can I do?
  3. Hi everyone! I have an Hp dm3 1010el, I successfully installed ML and made work almost everything, but I still can't use sleep/wake. Thanks to the great help of Maldon, I have a modified dsdt and so my hackintosh correctly goes to sleep, but when I press a key or open the lid, the leds blink and it crashes. I've read that it can depend from CMOS reset, so I tried patching AppleRTC but without any result. Can someone make this Chrismas present for me and help me? Thanks!
  4. chiedo scusa, ora dovrei essere in regola.

    HP Pavilion dm3-1010el - Sleep

Hi again and sorry for being late. Finally with Smbios MacBookBpro7.1 speedstep works! (seen with voodoomonitor, now deleted, and with geekbench score). Now I have vanilla PM. And the notebook goes correctly to sleep. But still no wake up.

    Ciao a tutti

Ciao ragazzi, sono da poco riuscito a far funzionare il mio hackintosh, spero di poter imparare nuove cose sull'argomento e aiutare chi posso
  7. Ciao! Anche io ho la tua stessa scheda video, però su un Hp dm3. A me funziona semplicemente aggiungendo <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> nel boot.plist (in Extra/Extensions) di chameleon. hai provato?

    HP Pavilion dm3-1010el - Sleep

Again, thanks. The notebook goes to sleep, but doesn't wake up. "We" (you) made an important step. I analized a little your dsdt, usb is already fixed, right? I think the problem is in the power management of the cpu, because the speedstep is not working. But I have no idea how to fix it. I am testing original and patched kernel, same behaviour. Any idea?

    HP Pavilion dm3-1010el - Sleep

I'll try to fix the usb, I made it in my old dsdt (I think) now I'll apply in your. Furthermore, I remember that with a Hp mini dsdt (I know, I shouldn't use others pc dsdts) sleep and wake work. Can it be useful? Here it is from my first thread http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...5&hl=hp+dm3

    HP Pavilion dm3-1010el - Sleep

If you mean GenerateP and CStates in boot.plist, I had them from before, here it is. Now I'm using original kernel, but wake up still not working. org.chameleon.Boot.plist.zip

    HP Pavilion dm3-1010el - Sleep

First of all thank you very much for your continous help. Run the command. No changes with the second DSDT. Still no speedstep. Two things, just to be complete : 1 I have a modified AppleACPIPlatform for battery indicator 2 I use a patched kernel to avoid cpus=1 command at boot, are they important? I tried your first dsdt even with the original kernel and cpus=1 command, but it's the same.

    HP Pavilion dm3-1010el - Sleep

Thank you very much for you help! Now sleep work properly, but unfortunately it doesn't wake up. When the notebook is in sleep, the power button led flashes, just like when it's in standby from windows, so I think this part is perfect. When I press a key, all leds turn on for an instant, than they turn off and the pc seems shutted down. I am also worried that the speedstep is not working, and the processor is stucked at 600mhz (instead of 1300), because my geekbench score is a half than normal, but I can't verify because I deleted VoodooMonitor. Can you help me?

    HP Pavilion dm3-1010el - Sleep

Hi everyone! I've successfully installed retail Lion on Hp dm3 1010el. Now it's working quite well, with only minor problems (no mute and no 2 finger scroll), but I'd like to have sleep working. I think it's a dsdt problem, I've tried a lot of fix (some from DSDTSE hacks list, from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...259288&st=0 post 5 and other threads) but with no success. I use VoodooPowerMini for speedstep, is that a problem?(and if the answer is yes, how do I get native speedstep?) Here is my clean DSDT. Can someone help me? thanks! dsdtclean.aml.zip
