Oscar Thompson
I have recently been trying to install OS X 10.5 or above on my PC. I have used Ideneb, Kalyway and Iatkos but to no luck. jaS 10.4.8 is the only one to run on my hardware but does not meet my needs. (garage band, New apps etc.) I have Ideneb working on one of my other computers. My hardware is: Gigabyte GA-8IG1000 PRO G Socket 478 Pentuim 4 3.00ghz 1gb RAM 150gb Maxtor HD Would anyone know what distrubuter might work? Many Thanks Oscar Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/254305-leopard-install-on-socket-478-motherboard/ Share on other sites
buoo
Hi If jaS 10.4.8 seems the only right way, install it! You will try to install Leopard from the Tiger's desktop on another partition simply mounting the dmg Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/254305-leopard-install-on-socket-478-motherboard/#findComment-1667270 Share on other sites

Hariharan
If you are interested in Snow Leo then Try Hazard 10.6.1~10.6.2 DVD Most of the stuff seems to work fine with my 478 setup. with a few hiccups here or there.
