Okay, I don't even want to know how many of these type of threads are out there already, but I just don't know enough about all of the different version of Leopard to pick one and install it on my laptop. I tried a Tiger install a long time ago, but it hung at the Apple screen. Since then, I've gotten a few more install images, but just haven't been ambitious enough to give them a respectable attempt at installation. Anyway, here is what I have:

Toshiba Satellite

C2D T7300 @ 2.00 ghz, 2gb RAM, ATI HD 2400 (mobility obviously), and Intel 4965 wifi

Now, the last time I checked, I'm pretty much up a certain creek that starts with a "Sh" and ends with "it" as far as wireless internet goes. Maybe that's changed....but I doubt it. Support seemed a long ways off when I was looking around last. Hopefully I don't have to run my video card with the VESA driver. I did that for a while with Ubuntu, and it plain sucked (I eventually got the right driver installed though).

So, what image works best for what I have? I have the Kalyway 10.5.1 image burned already. Is there a better one? Can I expect my graphics card to be supported? My wifi (ha)? I've perused the forums for a while, but there are so many combination of hardware, especially when it comes to laptops, that I am a bit lost.

Oh, I own a G4 tower, so I'm plenty familiar with OS X and good with PC's too, so I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty.
