I have a Satelite A205-4587 by TOshiba.. it says it has a Realtek HD audio device.. when i check i system manager i see under hardware ID HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0268&SUBSYS_1179FF10&REV_1000 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0268&SUBSYS_1179FF10 i keep seeing 8086 as well at several places within those settings.. when in Uphuck OSX 10.4.8 I have a sound bar.. and i have monitors.. but am hearing No sound.. its as if the drivers are working.. and i have no sound.. ALSO.. if i adjust the volume control.. on the hardware.. the little speaker icon appears on the desktop to show me that i'm adjusting the volume..
