schmegahertz
Hello, I just wanted to try Leopard OSX on my Asus laptop (model nr: F9S-2P110C). This is what happens no matter what kernel i try to boot with: http://i29.tinypic.com/2we051y.jpg I have also tried using the -s switch, but the same msg appears, where I cannot press any keys and have to do a "cold" shutdown. Help is very appreciated in this matter. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99883-leopard-1052-by-kalyway-problems/ Share on other sites
insomnimac
Dunno that laptop, can you post the exact specs? Looks like you're using the vanilla kernel on a machine that doesn't support it. Does the DVD boot and what version are you using? schmegahertz
These are the specs: Intel Core Duo T7250 2.0GHz, 2GB DDR@, 160GB HDD, 12.1 WXGA, nVidia GeForce 8400M G, DVD SuperMulti Dual Layer, Gigabit LAN, 802.11agn, Bluetooth, Card Reader, FingerPrint, WebCam. I've tried nforcekernel and all other kernels i believe (speedstepkernel, mach, modbinkernel, kabylkernel), did get a little further when i tried using the -x switch tho, but it always ends on where it tells me the Kernel version.
