Hello,

I just wanted to try Leopard OSX on my Asus laptop (model nr: F9S-2P110C). This is what happens no matter what kernel i try to boot with: http://i29.tinypic.com/2we051y.jpg

I have also tried using the -s switch, but the same msg appears, where I cannot press any keys and have to do a "cold" shutdown.

Help is very appreciated in this matter.

These are the specs: Intel Core Duo T7250 2.0GHz, 2GB DDR@, 160GB HDD, 12.1 WXGA, nVidia GeForce 8400M G, DVD SuperMulti Dual Layer, Gigabit LAN, 802.11agn, Bluetooth, Card Reader, FingerPrint, WebCam.

I've tried nforcekernel and all other kernels i believe (speedstepkernel, mach, modbinkernel, kabylkernel), did get a little further when i tried using the -x switch tho, but it always ends on where it tells me the Kernel version.

nope, not fully, i get to where it posts the kernel version, but it seems to hang after that. see this image: http://i27.tinypic.com/2i6jrl2.jpg

i saw this FAQ from http://osx86.wikidot.com/known-issues#toc10

Leopard Bootup freeze Issue: During bootup the system freezes with an error:

Kernel Version:

Darwin Kernel Version 9.1.0: Fri Nov 16 14:50:43; made by ToH:xnu-1228.0.2~1/Build/obj/RELEASE_I386

Resolution: Reboot your pc, and use the following flag at bootloader:

-x

That's what i've tried, but it still wont help me.

I tried all methods, like cpus=1, -x, all kernels, all stop at Darwin Kernel Version....

But for -x,

I get

Mac OS Version:

9C2015

better than before..@@

My Spec is :

ASUS A8JS Notebook

Intel Core 2 Duo T7200, 2000 MHz (12 x 167)
