oliver
Hi m8s, My PCI GA311 does not work in 10.4.4. That thing is in 10.4.3 (1111a) it works. Is there anyone who can tell what I should do? SMcA
Replace IONetworkingFamily.kext in 10.4.4 with the one that came in 10.4.3, delete Extensions.kextcache and Extensions.mkext, restart you hackintosh and you should be able to use your NIC again. sudo su cp /Volumes/<insert OSX.3 volume name here>/System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext /Volumes/<insert OSX.4 volume name here>/System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext cd /Volumes/<insert OSX.4 volume name here>/System/Library rm Extensions.mkext Extensions.kextcache You can do this in either 10.4.3 or 10.4.4. I'm so sorry for the stupid question, but could you tell what <insert OSX.3/OSX.4 volume name here> means? Thanks m8. Bug
Replace that with the name of your drive, usually the name you see under the drive in the finder. IE - Your drive's called 'Tiger' in finder, replace that <insert blah blah blah> with 'Tiger' Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9953-ga311-1044/#findComment-65092 Share on other sites

I bought the Netgear GA311 because it was supposed to work out of the box. I'm running 10.4.4 (DVD hotISO) and I've followed these steps exactly and I get nothing. Do I need to chmod or chown anything?? Please be specific. Thanks a terabyte.
