blukanon
I am using iatkos (latest) I burned the DVD using a standard DVD-R disk, and with Nero 8 trial (does a trial mess anything up?) My computer being a Toshiba satellite A105-s2236 It is compatible with SSE2 and SSE3, or so says "cpuz" I am using an Intel M, processor. My problem is, the iatkos disk will run smoothly, but only to the point of partitioning, or installing, i cant see or do not see my HD, but if i plug in my external HD its seen, only problem is i already tried installing leopard with iatkos on my external HD, it seems to install fine, with no errors, but it then wont load from my bios. My question-is there a way to make or fix my HD not showing up? My question2-Is there a way to set up my bios to make it load the external HD? also i don't think i have ever messed with my bios(i think its ver. 5-if any more info would help i would gladly try to give) I think i am so close please i will try anything. I am sorry if i seem like a n00b, but i am totally new, i have done research on this laptop and it seems, or the wiki shows that my hardware and such would be compatible. Thank you so much for even looking or reading. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99482-mac-install-problem/ Share on other sites
DJ McG
I tried using a toshiba Satellite A75-S231 Pentium 4 and it did not work either. I tried to ask for help but it seems no one had an answer... kadeschs
I'm using an Satellite A75 similar to your hardware setup. I can't get past the "waiting on root drive" message.
