or_astroman
I second the ASUS P5N7A. Here's the thread. Here's the board. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99480-the-best-micro-atx-board-for-osx86/page/2/#findComment-1164567 Share on other sites
josego
Hello all, My first post here, I am choosing the hardware for my first hackintosh. I like that ASUS P5N7A but also looking at GIGABYTE EG45M-DS2H, I searched for info and only found this, this and this. What I like from EG45M-DS2H is the internal connectors for COM and LPT ports. Any successful histories about EG45M-DS2H? At the performance side, which GPU is better? EG45M-DS2H or P5N7A? I will not play last generation games but I will edit video in a 1920x1200 display, Is it worth it to add a graphics card to the P5N7A in SLI mode? SLI is not available with the EG45M-DS2H, isn't it? Which Chipset is better? EG45M-DS2H or P5N7A? Is there any (supported) mobo with similar specs and DDR3 support? Sorry for so many questions and thank you in advance, I will post here if have valuable info.
