Over the past few days I have had no luck installing leopard on my PC. I've tried two different versions of kalaway, and 1 of iatkos. I get to the installation screen, and the status bar just hangs at about 5%. I think u found the problem though. My hard drive light does not blink very much (or at all) during installation. And periodically I hear it shut down. How can I fix this? I think its on power save mode but I don't know how to change it. I'm using a completely blank HD, and all other hard drives are disconnected.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If you have an external HD then try using that and test if it installs faster... if not then there must be some options or settings to change the HD.

Try checking the internet (google) or this forum for someone else with this problem that their HD is very unresponsive after a short time and how you could change it. I'm sorry since i don't have many expertise in this area however i guess these are some options you can try unless if you have already tried this.

Yea I've been searching. The install is slowly moving. Its taking about 5 minutes per letter (the letters on top of the status bar that say "Installing Mac OS X Leopard on the volume untitled." I think I might just wait this one out, cause it will probably b done by the end of the day. Unfortunatley I don't have another drive I could try. Only my iPod. Hmm, will that work? If I try to install on to my iPod.
