Background info:

Install version: Kalyway 10.5.2

System is an Abit AW9D-Max with 4GB RAM, Intel Conroe 6750 CPU, ATI RADEON x1950 Pro, Realtek onbaord soundcard (works fine).

Router is a WRT300N Linksys. Wireless card is a WMP300N Linksys v1.1 card.

When I go to Network Prefs > Airport > Advanced I get the correct MAC address of the WMP300N wireless card. The problem is I can't see the router (which works fine in Windows). The card shows up in System Profiler when I click on Network (it shows up below), but when I click on AirPort under Network, it doesn't show up.

Are there specific router settings I should use? I've read I should use the kexts from Kalyway 10.5.1 to get the wireless working, but when I opened up the iso within OS X, it was missing IONetworkingFamily.kext. I transplanted the other two required kexts (IO80211family.kext & IOPCIfamily.kext), chmodded to 755 and chowned to root:wheel, but nothing new happened.

I tried setting the wireless settings manually (including the network name, wep key, etc.), but that didn't work either.

As a last resort I tried installing Kalyway 10.5.1, but the install fails at the last minute or if it does install, it won't boot :-(.
