BigPimpin Posted April 17, 2008 Share Posted April 17, 2008 Should be OK. Just make sure you use an SSE2 kernel and not an SSE3 one. Figuring out which distro has which is, shall we say, an adventure. I'm pretty sure iATKOS lets you choose which one you want. Not sure about the others. Also watch out for "kernel upgrades". In the end, the kernel is just one file, machos_kernel (I think), in the root directory of your hard drive. Once you get it working make a backup of that file. Then if you get hosed by an upgrade you can always boot in single-user mode and restore the one you know works. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
