s4b3rl0rd
hi, I can´t even boot the Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD on my Toshiba M50 notebook, because it has an Intel Pentium M 1,7GHz only with SSE2. I tried the sleepkernel and the speedstepkernel which should both support SSE2, but they actually don´t. Did anyone succeed in installing Leopard on an SSE2 ??? s4b3rl0rd
I finally was able to get Kalyway 10.5.1 working. Sound is working fine, but the wireless Intel 2200BG drivers are still beta, so I got a nice kernel panic after installing them Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99212-leopard-1052-on-intel-pentium-m-with-sse2/#findComment-709328 Share on other sites

thengineer
AppleIntheSky, you are sure that your pc is trying to boot from the dvd (bios settings)? maybe you should start with 10.4.x tiger with the help of an howto. real_sinjon
Just to report, I have successfully installed Kalyway 10.5.1 with the K'way.5.2 updater and K'way 9.2.0 kernel and system kext patch on a IBM Thinkpad T42, Pentium M 1.7GHz, 512mb DDR 2700 and Radeon Mobility 7500 (not fully supported, CI-software, QE not supported, but gets by). Only issue was getting boot without DVD, but fixed that with manual install of PC_efi v8.
