AdamTi
Hey there, is there a way I can get my Intel GMA 900 driver to work, I know it's a crappy card but can I at least get videos to work (10.5.2 Kalway). Thanks for any help. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99145-intel-gma-900-driver-help/ Share on other sites
AdamTi
I tried the Diabolik thing after I found a link after some searching but I think it might be for Tiger only because the .pkg would not install... riws
this evidence is enough to shut your mouth up. --> http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=110176 And if you read the post through you will find out, that you get Resolutions/QE/CI with extra Onions like Mouseartifacts and f*u* OpenGL, witch does not work properly. riws
then you use this instead http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=141549 And you get fully supported without Mouseartifacts and OpenGL working properly Its the same method, different way, but the same result. Mouseartifacts come from the FrameBuffer, but only the the FB from 10.4.4/5/6 works for GMA91x and this causes the Artifacts under Leopard, but not under Tiger. In OSX the GMA950 has 83 Extensios/Functions for OpenGL, but the old 91x has 6 less. If the GL Rendering asks for the last 6 Extensions, its dead end for the older fellow. niadma
Does anyone know if this driver will work in Snow Leopard? I am thinking of maybe updating my dinosaur of a machine, an emachines D5039, to Snow Leopard if I can find all necessary kexts. *UPDATE - It did work, without artifacts on my 1680 * 1050 monitor at full resolution Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99145-intel-gma-900-driver-help/#findComment-1318339 Share on other sites

Serkan
yes, please do share. i also have this enabler working, and like riws said it, the artifacts come from the framebuffer, but unfortunately the only way to get past the blue screen is this framebuffer. a bit of a bummer Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99145-intel-gma-900-driver-help/#findComment-1393295 Share on other sites
