MerlinUO
Hey Guys, I have been looking all over the place for a solution to my problem (mostly these forums), but have found nothing that has helped. I am trying to boot into the Leopard DVD but cant because of this error: Checksleepcapability: ohci controller will be unloaded across sleep This line is repeated about 5 times until the dreaded “Still waiting for root device” error comes up. I have tried both Zephoroth’s AMD 10.5.2 distro and the latest Leo4All distro. My specs are: AMD 3500+ Asus M2A-VM Motherboard (690G Chipset) 250GB SATA Western Digital HD 250GB IDE Maxtor HD LG DVD Writer IDE Nvidia 8600 GTS OC (Dont know if this effects anything) I have tried setting the HD as primary and the DVD as slave and vice versa to no avail. Tried disabling legacy support, but when I do this, my keyboard and mouse don’t work and I can’t press anything in order to boot into the DVD. Tried removing one HD and booting. But nothing is working. I am downloading the latest Kalaway 10.5.2 release in hopes that it will work. Any suggestions on what I can do would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.
