drunknbass
sorry i posted this in 1 other forum,.. didnt know which one was the proper place.. k i have osx on 1 disk, and i had vista on a 2nd separate disk and vmware automatically detected it and setting it up to run vista was a breeze. now i have that 2nd disk set up as a dual boot, and i have vista and xp on it.. it is functioning fine, and if i boot the 2nd drive the boot manager lets me choose which os (vista or xp) and i can run either fine. but now vmware doesnt detect either os automatically and i need to know if its even possible to set up vmware manually, sort of like how parallels works where you specify a disk and partition. if i switch to using a diff bootloader like acronis or grub will that fix this? id hate to have to go buy a few seperate hds just to run these os. i already have enough hds as it is(for osx ).
