cheetos123 Posted April 12, 2008 Share Posted April 12, 2008 New here, mods delete if this is spam, but I couldn't find anything close to describing what I should do about this when I searched. Fresh install with the kalyway 10.5.2 dvd, sse2/sse3 on a dell inspiron 8600 laptop. Hard drive was clean, install went fine. When I booted after install was complete, it cycled at the apple logo. Then I tried booting in verbose mode, now it stops after this line: MAC Framework successfully initialized using 2621 buffer headers and 2621 clusterIO buffer headers. Then it stops. ccb_v2 Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 try adding other switch options: -legacy -x = I know this is safe mode. -f I was able to get the Install to boot with "-v -x -legacy cpus=1" but that was using Zephyroth's Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.1 on an AMD Phenom system Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
