djbb Posted April 12, 2008 Share Posted April 12, 2008 i just installed osx86 JaS 10.4.8 on my compaq presario x1000, everything installed fine and it booted up fine no problems.. sound works out of the box which was nice .. but no wireless and gfx .. that doesnt bother me .. but whats really strange is the data in the About This Mac box. it says CPU: 600mhz... i have a 1.5ghz cpu in this machine.. ram reports correctly everything else is correct.. just the cpu speed.... is this just a reporting issue? or is osx really running at 600mhz ?
