Hi, I was able to install leo4allv2 onto my toshiba thinkpad a105-s4134 with vanilaa 9.2.2 kernel (yay!) but have a few issues.

1.) It runs off the battery for a while (few hours) but i don't know how to show the battery status in leopard.

2.) The built in keyboard and touch pad worked on the first boot into the os off the hard drive, and in the installer, but not after i restart.

I've Tried a few Apple PS2 kexts (including one that worked on my hackintosh at work)

3.) I have no idea what sound driver to use

*fixed*

4.) I believe it uses intel 3945 wireless, but not sure

I Have a broadcom based card I can pull from my dell laptop (it works but has no LCD anyway),

its originally from a gateway but the dell drivers picked it up too, maybe mac os would?

5.) It has a fingerprint reader, is there any support for those yet?

*fixed* found the guide on this site

6.) How can i make it NOT be verbose by default on the boot up?

BTW: Video works 100%, so does onboard ethernet, sleep, and restart.

EDIT: Mac OS X saw my network laser printer (HP Laserjet 2300DTN) on its own right out of the box and can print to it.

1. System Preferences -> Energy Saver -> Options Tab -> Show Battery St...

2. Look for the kext on the DVD. It must be there. Copy it to your installation.

3. Google or the manual will say. Another way is to install windows and see if it knows =)

4. Try it out.

5. I don't think so.

6. Edit /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist

Remove the -v flag from:

	<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string></string>

Update: I swapped in a dell wireless 1390 card and it worked immediately.

All my issues have been solved except for the KB/Touchpad and the battery gauge.

There is no option to show battery status under system preferences.

Any ideas?

No, I haven't decided if its even worth installing the cardbus drivers. I erased windows off it the second I got it and dont want to install it again (i did GUID so no dual boot) to get the info i would need (unless a live linux cd can do it). I dont have anything I need cardbus for. If you need it for wireless I'd suggest ordering a dell truewireless card from ImpactComputers.com

Do you have a battery meter on your laptop? how about your keyboard and mouse?

Does anyone know where ApplePS2Controller.kext is on leo4allv2 ? Would that even fix it since it DID work after the first boot, but not after the second. I didn't run updates until after I rebooted the second time, so I know that didnt break it.

Well I decided to copy over the Apple ACPI and Apple PS2 kexts from my brazil mac based workstation, i fixed the keyboard and touchpad, and im going to try to fix the battery meter not showing up (even as an option in Energy Saver)

That fixed it, hows your luck with the cardbus? Also does your memory card reader work or not? I work on computers for a living and I think these laptops might have the memory card reader integrated with the cardbus chip (dell and hps do this, toshiba might).

So my laptop is basically 99% functional (carbus is a small issue for me, so is the SD reader, but id like them to work)

Again i seriously recommend swapping your wifi card for a broadcom one, it worked for me.

One more thing. Is it possible to get the media keys to the left of the keyboard to work in mac os?
