beton
Hello all I installed 10.4.3 with Jas 4.2b patch using vmware to phisical partition. With VMWare OS runs ok. Now i'm trying to get it runs native. During boot natively using "-v -x platform=x86pc" i get following messages: display: familiy specific matching fails ... /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/MacOS/loginwindow: Login window Application started display: not usable ... loginwindow[55]: Login Window Started Security Agent but system doesn't show any window with login possibility. I'm still in boot messages. I think the problem is that my video card isn't properly recognized (cause i installed it in VMWare). But i'm newbie in Mac OS. So if anybody can help me to get this thing working I'ii be glad. My configuration: AMD Sepmron 2800 x64 Asus K8N4-Deluxe - nForce 4 WinFast GeForce 6600TD 256MB PCI-E If You need any other information i'll try to get it. Please help and thanks in advance. beton
Hello New info: when i boot with -v -F -x platform=x86pc i get message that GeForce.kext cannot be loaded. As I've written before I had Winfast Geforce 6600 on PCI-EX and my motherboard is Asus k8n4-deluxe on nForce 4. How to get this kext loaded on my machine because i think that is the problem why i get "display: not usable" message.
