redtomrackham
I downloaded Leopard 10.5.2 AMD EFI Rev.2 from the Pirate Bay and burned it to DVD. The installation seems to be running fine until I encounter an error saying, 'Install Failed Mac OS X could not be installed on your computer. The installer could not create the folder "/volumes/OS X/Basesystem.pkg. …".' I'm guessing this probably has something to do with writing a file. I've customized everything in the installation options, i.e., language packs, TOE (whatever that is), etc. I'm on a Dell Dimension C521 (AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+). I apologize - I'm not familiar with hardware, but I'm under the impression this should be working properly. Could this have something to do with the options I have set? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
