I have installed leopard 10.5.2 everything working fine except ... after updating using software update .

when booting to leopard the ps2 wired mouse and keyboard seem to have been replaced with usb mouse and keyboard drivers ie if i plug my mouse into the usb port it works ( a lot slower though ) but no keyboard ?

however booting in safe mode lets me use the ps2 wired mouse and keyboard as before updating ?

is there something that needs removing or changing ? a driver or kext or something to prevent the system from using usb mouse/keyboard and defaulting to ps2 instead ?

Hope it's as simple as it should be . was working great a week ago ;)
