DivisionByZero
:censored2: I have PS2 keyboard and a usb mouse. When booting from the DVD, they both works. After installation, only the mouse works. I can get past the "Welcome" video, but I can't fill out the Registeration Information becasue keyboard dosnt work!!! I tried PS2 Keyboard + PS2 Mouse, and PS2 Keyboard + USB mouse.I don't have usb keyboard. I copied the AppleACPIPlatform.kext and ApplePS2Controller.kext from DVD to Leopard Extensions folder, and repaired permissions, but still only the mouse works. I also tried this: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...rt=#entry563598 sudo chmod -R 755 /Volumes/leopard/System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kextsudo chown -R root:wheel /Volumes/leopard/System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext sudo chmod -R 755 /Volumes/leopard/System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext sudo chown -R root:wheel /Volumes/leopard/System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext sudo rm /Volumes/leopard/System/Library/Extensions.mkext But still a no-go for the keyboard....Help please? Methanoid
try using acpips2nub Sorry but what exactly do you mean? Remove the other files as post #1 indicates and add this kext or what? I've just spend best part of day piddling about with reinstalls with various options in XxX 10.5.6 install disk such as the default kexts, some of them, none of them, adding another kext option and so forth.... PS2 Keyboard and USB Mouse can't be that rare a combo!!??
