Leo4All V2 IDE Issue

I have the Nforce chipset on my motherboard I tried pretty much all distros of OSX X86 AMD it works perfectly using SATA but for some reason it wont read or install on IDE hard drive. It says I/O error everytime I try to reformat in disk utility. Any suggestions to help currently I am using Leo4All V2 image
