john1806
I have created a 30gig fat32 partition on my hard drive. Using leo4all v2, during the disk utility step at beggining of install, no drives appear on the list at all. I am using an HP DV66704nr notebook with a 160GB Serial ATA hard drive. Help Please! edit: also what type of install will i want to select? glitchbit
Once again... try other popular releases but you can also try cpus=1 -v Another thing is that some HP/Compaq laptops for some reason will not detect the hard drive unless you read the disc using an externel USB device. For some reason the DVD drive itself comes into conflict with the hard drive location as far as the OSX Install disc is concern. That may or may not be it, but I am just saying what I have heard and I now own an IDE to usb converter so I can later try and load OSX on a compaq that was not letting the hard drive show up.
