feddyups
Hello everybody, Using Kalyway's 10.5.1 w/o 10.5.2 update, is there a way that I can get my ATI FireGL 3100, 128 Mbs to work? So far, I have only a 1024x768 resolution option, through VESA 2 drivers 16MBs installed. I also get mouse artifacts on my current configuration. Thanks in advance, feddyups Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/97676-ati-firegl-3100/ Share on other sites
feddyups
Update: by editing the /library/preferences/systemconfiguration/com.apple.boot.plist adding the lines: <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>WidthxHeightxColourDepth</string> I manage to get a maximum res of 1280x1024, no matter what value I insert to WidthxHeightxColourDepth. I wonder if the old trick of adding the ATIRadeon9700.kext to my extensions would work. My card's display info is: Type: Display Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 128 MB Vendor: ATI (0x1002) Device ID: 0x5b64 Revision ID: 0x0080 Display: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/97676-ati-firegl-3100/#findComment-698185 Share on other sites
