I downloaded the iATKOS iso and burned the disk at x8 speed- I thought i was at 2x at first but it turned out to be 8x(r2 version). I put it in my disk drive and it boots up. Yet, after the apple logo shows there is this wierd grey looking display:

I am running on a dell dimension 2400 (intel cpu and intel integrated gpu)

Should I try burning it at a lower speed?

I really want leopard so thanks in advance.

It is not a problem with your installation DVD, iPC and iDeneb will give you the same thing. You can only get 16 shades of grey with a dimension 2400. People have found fixes for when they install 10.4.8, but so far I have not found anybody with a solution in Leopard. A video card is one way around it, but you are going to run into problems with the ethernet too, so you might want to get a network card as well.

my specs and install
