Differences between the boots

I seem a bit confused with EFI/mbr

 

This is what I did:

 

Install Leopard on an empty disk on my T60 -> works (using the GUID partition format)

Clone the partition with CCC

Clone the disk of y X60 where I had Uphuck working -> Tiger boots (The disk had been formated with the APple Utility under Tiger)

Copy the clones Leopard on the Tiger partition -> grub says "Error 13: Invalid or unsupported executable format" on boot

Boot with the Leopard install DVD and let it boot from the hard disk -> Leopard boots OK

 

So I guess I have a (small?) problem with my boot settings. Does the copy "carry" some of the partition table settings with it?
