fyaajster
Ok here is what I did to get my Vaio VGNSZ-120P successfully to install kalyway on a USB HD. 1. change your bootup device in BIOS, I change my to CD-ROM first then USB second. Boot the system up and let it go through installation. 2. Go to diskutility. Choose your usb dirve , select partition, under volume scheme choose 1 partition or two. click on option select only MBR then apply, once it's done close out DU. 3. Start the installation select your USB HD. 4. Choose customize and select only vanila kernel ACPPlatform and Bootloader with just MBR not GUID, hit done continue on your installation. 5. Make sure it say install successful, After installation complete reboot with the disk still in the drive Press f8 after you see somthing like ( to install press any key or f8 for more obtion) 6. type in -vanila it will go through the proccess again, once you hit the install screen to select your language, select it the quit the install and reboot. 7. this time take the DISK OUT and let it reboot then press f8 again then type in -vanila again it should work and you will start seeing the 3d video to complete you installation. 8. Remember folks it may work for someone it not work for other. This is how I got mine to work just want to throw it out there. For dual booting I'm still working on it on.
