Brendan.B
Right, I'm trying to get os x onto my toshiba laptop, which currently has windows vista on it, and i want to get rid of that and try and install OS X Leopard. Specs of laptop : Toshiba Satellite L40-18Z Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor 1.6GHz 1Gb DDR Ram 80Gb SATA HDD Realtek HD audio/Realtek Ethernet and Wireless Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit I downloaded the iATKOS v1.0 and burned this iso image using magicISO onto a DVD-R 4.7gb Burned fine, no problems there. I boot into the disc and the apple screen comes up with the picture of the apple and a loading circle thingy, the thing is , it's stuck on this screen and it keeps spinning but doesn't get anywhere. Anyone know what the problem may be? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/97241-os-x-installation-problem/ Share on other sites

Brendan.B
right, i tried that, and then loads of texts appears. At the bottom it gets to 'MAC Framework successfully initialized using 5242 buffer headers and 4096 cluster Extension "com.apple.driver.ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin" has immediate dependicies on both com.apple.kernal and com.apple.kpi components; use only one style. Then it just does nothing again. Any help greatly appreciated Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/97241-os-x-installation-problem/#findComment-694564 Share on other sites
