deadly0virus Posted April 2, 2008 Share Posted April 2, 2008 hey all I have a intel based pc installed with Mac OsX Tiger 10.4.11 and its works fine but i encountered some problems when it comes to playing movies....i recently downloaded some movies from my campus network and all of them have .mkv extensions all are matroska files which i cud easily play with media player classic wen used vista.....but with mac i am not able to play any of those videos which i downloaded....i tried vlc but it cant handle those files neither does OS players works..when i open movie with all these players the players quits itself....i like using Mac a lot but if i am not able to play the movies i find it troublesome..does anyone have any idea if they can help me out..wud be thankful to u...
