heyyy, im new in this!

 

i tried installing the ideneb v1.3 at my budget laptop, wich is

 

HP 6715s

ACPIx86 BASED PC

ATI M690T CHIPSET

Mobile sempron 3800+

with 2gb ram

120gb disk via ATA

ATI x1250 integrated graphics

broadcom 802.... wlan adapter

bluetooth

Soundmax integrated hd audio by analogdevices

Vista 32bit, home basic

broadcom 802.11 a/b/g WLAN

Broadcom 590x10/100 Ethernet

Standard dual channel PCI IDE Controller

LG DVD-RAM GSA-T40L ATA DEVICE

 

 

it gets to the white/grey apple screen but then dvd stops spinning and after a while the "NO" sign comes on the top of the apple logo!

 

So i tried Kalyway 10.5.1 and got more forward with it stopping in -v mode to a screen that says about

 

Using SMBIOS table found at 0x000fe110

Using ACPI RSDP revision 2 found at 0x000f0.B

calibation failed with 2 attempts

 

then, trying again with kalyway dvd it gets more forward again, this time stopping at screen that says:

 

Jettisoning kernel linker.

Oct 18 06:23:02 localhost com.apple.launchh[1] (com.apple.SystemStarter): Failed to count the number of files in "/System/Library/StartupItems": no such file or directory

unknown SIGSEGV code 0

 

Why doesnt the ideneb work ? how do i install the path that ideneb provided, i have the md5checksum program, but the cheksum i get is not the same as they say in raedme.txt

So, I successfully installed Kalyway 10.5.2, using sleep kernel. When trying to boot leopard i get the following:

 

Darwin/x86 boot v5.0.132

2814MB memory

VESA v3.0 16MB (ATI ATOMBIOS)

Loading kernel mach_kernel

Loading HFS+ file: [mach_kernel] from 422d500.

blinking cursor at the end. I don't get the we are going backwards error. just hangs right there.

 

any news on this problem ?

 

Specs:

HP Pavilion tx2500

System board ID: 30F1

AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual Core Mobile ZM-80 @ 2.1Mhz

3 GB RAM

Bios version F.05

Hey guys

Might be a little delayed but im having the same problem, it started off with it happening some times, but when I tried to update my GFX card it does it non stop and soesn't let me boot. I've tried changing the time in BIOS but still nothing.

Any ideas?

Hi!

Please hep me! I'm trying to install Snow Leopard 10.6.1-10.6.2 Intel AMD made by Hazard, but it fails because I can't even start the installer b/c of this bug...

only once i was able to start the install with no boot options.but had to quit b/c no hdd was free.

I tried:

cpus=1 -v

platform=x86pc cpus=1 -v

platform=86pc cpus=1 -v

busratio=20 -v

my specs:

MOBO: ga-m51gm-s2g

CPU: AMD Athlon64 x2 4200+

HDD: SAMSUNG HD502HJ

WDC WD1600JB-00REA0

WDC WD200BB-00AUA1

GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 4830

RAM: 2X Kingston 9905316-005.A04LF (1GB ddr2 667MHz)

I have also tried another DVD but with that it hangs before the:
