guaterickie Posted April 1, 2008 Share Posted April 1, 2008 I have successfully installed Leopard on my Inspiron 8600 using Kalyway 10.5.1 After installation i took the DVD out and was greeted by the press any key for more options and the 5 second countdown. I pressed the key and found two entries, one more leopard and one for Windows XP Professional. I was happy it did that for me and chose Leopard. After choosing Leopard it said Loading EFI and then some more stuff like on my desktop then the screen goes black and then im back at the boot splash just to get to the 5 second countdown menu again. I already tried it with the DVD in the tray but that doesnt work. Any ideas why its not working? At least Windows XP is still alive! Thanks for any help!
