munky
10.4.1 was a beta release of mac os x on intel. its horribly old, slow, buggy and practically unusable. grab yourself a copy of JaS 10.4.8 or maybe a Leo4All disc.

Reveeen
matthudson: Give the "XxX_OS_x86_10.4.11_Install_Disc_Intel, rev 1.0" a try, I have had success in using it on really old SDRAM 845 boards, and for best results, with an AGP slot, pick up a FX5200 video card (under $50). agel1: Give us some specs., you might need to upgrade your bios to get your ACPI compliant, that said, there are some boards that will never be compliant, and without this compliance it "ain't ever gonna work right".
