I've been able to install Jas SSe2 SSe3 PPF1 PPF2 10.4.8 to my Sony VGN-FS950, and the installation goes fine. The specs are as follows: 1.8GHz Celeron M 2GB RAM 80GB HD (first partition ntfs, second partition hfs+ journaled) Intel GMA915M The problem is that when I try to boot after install, the computer just hangs at the screen that you get at the beginning where it's just "mac os x"-style blue. i selected gma900 extension, the login window fix, and the intel kext when i installed. any ideas? thanks! Soap McTavish Posted April 1, 2008 Author Share Posted April 1, 2008 Update: On a hunch, I reinstalled without anything but the base system and intel kexts and it worked. I think I'll live with that and then just put the rest of the kexts that i need in manually.
